Intelectol Review – 3.2/5

What is Intelectol?

Intelectol is a Vinpocetine supplement which is being called ‘the purest form of Vinpocetine’.

The benefits of this ingredient are well-known to the nootropics market already as it’s used in some of the most popular stacks on the market, but when there’s so much choice out there already, is it worth buying Vinpocetine on its own in the form of Intelectol?

Who Makes Intelectol?

We wish we knew! The name of the company behind Intelectol is The Memory Secret, but that’s about all we can tell you. There’s no website or contact information for the manufacturer, which is rather worrying.

This means we’re left in the dark about any form of customer service, money-back guarantee or buyer protection that they might offer, so we have to assume that none of these things are available.

What is Vinpocetine?

We don’t know much at all about Intelectol, but we do know lots about Vinpocetine, so we’ll tell you everything about what it is and how it works.

Vinpocetine is a synthetic alkaloid, otherwise known as Cavinton, derived from the Periwinkle plant.

What does Vinpocetine do? Intelectol Effects

Vinpocetine protects cognitive function, making it useful in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease as well as other conditions with memory impairment. It’s also used to treat stroke and epilepsy.

It enhances blood flow to the brain, which therefore improves memory function has a neuroprotective effect.

How does Intelectol work?

Vinpocetine supports overall brain health by fighting free radicals to reduce oxidative damage and reducing neural inflammation. It increases blood circulation to the brain which allows it to function at an improved rate.

Vinpocetine peaks in the blood rapidly to work quickly and effectively, but isn’t fully absorbed.

Intelectol Ingredients

Intelectol contains only a single active ingredient; 5g of Vinpocetine. There’s also Hydroxypropylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate and talc, all used to bond the ingredients.

Intelectol Dosage

Intelectol should be taken twice a day with food, two tablets at a time.

Intelectol Side Effects and Risks

The side effects of Vinpocetine are rare and mild, but can include headaches, stomach upset and dizziness.

While it is generally well-tolerated, it does pose risks for people with certain health conditions, including various heart problems.

It slows blood clotting and should therefore be avoided before surgery or when wounds are healing. It will interact with other medications which also cause blood clotting, so caution should be used.

Buy Intelectol

Since we couldn’t find any contact information for Memory Secret, we concluded that it’s not possible to purchase Intelectol directly from the manufacturer.

The only sites where we could find it for sale were  Optimal Health Products, which sells boxes of 15 pills for $15.99, and RUPharma, which sells the German version, Cavinton Forte, at 10Euros per box.

Optimal Health doesn’t ship to the UK or provide a money-back guarantee, but does provide a fast delivery service.

Intelectol Reviews

We were unable to find any customer reviews at all, which was disappointing.

It seems as though no one really knows anything about Intelectol.

Buying nootropics online can be risky business and it’s important that we have customer feedback to let us know which products work and which don’t. With so little information online about Intelectol, it’s perhaps not worth the risk.

Intelectol Summary

Intelectol is a little too ambiguous for us. Vinpocetine is a great nootropic ingredient, but when there are so many other places to buy it from, we can’t see a reason to try and buy this particular form when the manufacturer is elusive to the point where it’s almost completely unknown.

Besides, there are so many stacks that already have it, so why waste time on individual ingredients when you could get a larger range of benefits from another pill?

While Vinpocetine is used to fight cognitive decline, Alpha GPC and CDP Choline are much better-researched and have been shown to be effective in this aspect, so if you’re thinking of using Intelectol for this purpose, you’d be better off choosing one of those ingredients instead.
